I propose we catch the tube to Piccadilly Circus Station ( 1 ) and walk west on Piccadilly to The Royal Academy’s home since 1867, Burlington House ( 2 ). The gallery opens at 10:00am and have morning tea in the cafe. From here we travel back east along Piccadilly to Shaftsbury Avenue past the theatres and into West Street to check out St Martin's Theatre ( The Mousetrap ) ( 3 ) then down to Leicester Square, ( 4 ) the movie centre to have lunch in the park. Then walk up Laong Acre to Covent Garden ( 5 ). On to the Royal Opera House ( 6 ) in Bow Street. down Wellington Street and east along the Strand to the National Portrait Gallery ( 7 ) that closes at 6:00pm most days and 9:00pm on Thursdays and Fridays.
Then back to Charing Cross to take the tube back to London Bridge.
